I know, it’s only rock and roll…etc

Having a slight break from the usual indie and folky based stuff that forms Songs of Praise’s core, the next show, 5th April to exact is all about THE ROCK!

Last seen opening up for the mighty Thin Lizzy at The MECA, White Knuckle Bride are an intriguing mix of Bay areapunch, Sunset strip sleeze and a decidedly English vibe. Joining them are Angry Badger Records signings Kodiak Jack who mix grunge with classic rock and have been described as “Soundgarden, Velvet revolver and Pearl jam having a fight”. Up from Frome to open the show are Haters who grind indie and punk together to form a sound somewhere between Billy Talent and The Hives.
