(Ladder) Factory records!

ImageYou may have heard of The Ladder Factory, a new studio/reharsal room complex set in the metropolis of Shrivenham and steered by that Dacoits six stringer, international entertainer, bon viveur, connoisseur of fine wines and  building contractor. Well, what you may not realise  is that in conjunction with Faringdon Radio there is a regular show dedicated to local music streaming out of the building on a regular basis. Due to it’s proximity to both the Swindon and Oxford music scene, there is a healthy mix of music both familiar and new but still their appetite has not been sated. If you would like your music to be featured on the show or the band to be interviewed, you have some music related news that they might be interested in or you just want to listen to the show, head over to their website and check out all about them. What have you got to loose?

As someone with a cottage in Shrivenham I can’t figure out where the Ladder Factory is. The last place on the road out of the village, heading for Swindon, is a garage.

    • If you head out of the village on the back road to join the 420, it is down an unassuming track that looks like what it is… a small wilderness industrial yard. The first building on the right that looks like a scout hut is the recording studio.
