The exhibition space which began upstairs in the Devizes Road Juice Bar and Holistic Lounge is about the idea of sharing with the Core’s customers the innovation and creativity of local artists. The space also gives local artists a unique opportunity to exhibit and market their work in a fashionable, modern environment. The art breathes additional life into the Old Town restaurant, making every space individual and unique.

The opportunities to exhibit downstairs came about on the introduction of the Core Kitchen refurb. The space upstairs has also recently become available again and the Core team are busy as we speak renovating and lightening the large contempory lounge venue area upstairs which can be now be booked for special events and parties! From today and to coincide with the Christmas Lights Switch On evening, Sunday the 29th of November, the original canvas Sunflowers from Oare, Wiltshire by local Caroline Day – Artist can be viewed and purchased, along with original Allium and Hydrangea mono prints, bringing additional yet complimentary colour, texture and energy to the restaurant.

The art work can be enjoyed during the day time and also during other events such as The Core Kitchen Food Nights. The next food night is a Four Course Evening Special with the amazing Chef Jay Halford. Jay Halford trained as a chef at the age of 16 and has worked in many well known and Michelin Star hotels and restaurants. Friday the 30th of October is set to be an evening of incredible food including four superb and brand new courses plus a cocktail (you can read the full menu by clicking an the event link below with further information about booking and prices).
